FAQ
How do I enter the tournament? Can I enter without a guild affiliation?
In order to participate, you must be affiliated with a guild that has registered. Guilds may register for tournaments by posting on our designated Guild Registration on the Z2 forums (link here). This tournament has been designed for guilds, so individual members will not be allowed to participate at this time.
What are the rules?
Rules for tournaments may change. Tournament 2 rules can be found by following the link: Roll Call.
How long do I have to complete my match?
During the tournament, be diligent about checking the forum. Matches will be scheduled ahead of time on specific dates. You must complete your matches on these dates.
Where and how do I report my match results?
All match results must be posted on the board for the region they are specific too. They can be posted by yourself, your opponent, or your guild's director. Please post with the following format:
Name of Region
Round 1: winner's name
Round 2: winner's name
Round 3 (if applicable): winner's name
Match Winner: winner's name
I believe my opponent has made a rules violation. How do I proceed?
If you believe your opponent has violated a rule, take a picture to support your claim. Before playing any further matches, contact your region's moderator. If a violation has occurred, your opponent will be disqualified.
Who is my region moderator?
A moderator is listed in red font under each region. Alternatively, you may contact whichever moderator is in your timezone.
Where do I find my opponent?
Matches are posted in the brackets board, which is split into four regions. You can find what region you have been assigned to by referring to the Registered Participants thread (insert link).
I am unable to get in touch with my opponent. Now what?
If you are unable to get in touch with your opponent for before your match, contact your region director and provide a photo (if possible) showing you sent a friend request or in-game message. Your opponent will be DQed for failure to accept the friend request.
I have advanced in the tournament, but am unable to schedule my next match. Do I have to drop out?
Yes. Tournament participants must be able to be available for the duration of the tournament. If you cannot be available, you should not enter.
Are substitutions allowed?
No. If you cannot be available for tournament dates, do not register.
