Hey guys. I lost the match to lolfish this morning. Lost the first 2 rounds and threw out a formation the third one. Looking at screen shots however, I noticed he used 4 nano units in the 1st and 3 d round. An ET, LM, worm and MT.
I reached out to him just now saying I think we need to redo the match but he didn't see it yet (offline). What do you guys think? Can I post the pic here?

No, its a clear breach.. and a known one... I'm sorry but i feel that we should not keep redoing it when someone has broken one of the rules.

I think it should be a DQ as well, but since I am in the match I am obviously partial.

I think we need impartial opinions. I don't like clear breaches of the rules and this has clearly happened.
This will also mean that his standard formation throughout had probably used similar units.
I still vote for DisQ sorry HP, we need to set a standard and not be lenient on these things.

Guys the fact I am still in the tournament makes me hesitant about seeing the formations of people I could potentially be facing but to decide on a course of action what needs to be ascertained is if there was a breach of the rules and the only way we can do that is by seeing the screenshots. I would request they are posted privately and someone can confirm if the rules were in fact broken.

HP, although I respect that you and your team are enthusiastic PVP players, I have the utmost confidence that I, and plenty of others players here, can defeat Lolfish in fair competition. I am not looking for a free pass, I love the competition and I am sure, like you, want to see this tournament be successful. Trust me, I had already accepted defeat and was looking back to see where I went wrong when I noticed the illegal formation. That being said I value your opinion as a Director and know that you have the best intentions for this tournament. Thank you for quickly responding -- and after the tournament you and I can go a few rounds  |

Picture seen and its a violation, i suppose he may have thought it was ok to have 3 nanos and an LM but no matter what he will have used that before i think and that would have been unfair on others previously.
my vote still stands as disq but will bow to the majority. I just want to be firm with clear breaches of the rules.

Ben makes a good point about needing to be firm with the rules we have outlined. I support his notion to DQ.
I was, however, given the impression gbirdc was okay with just having a rematch. Is that accurate?

I didn't believe it intentional, therefore I would be fine with a replay of the match. If we want to take a hard line, that's understandable as well.
